Teleradiology · Ethiopia
Remote radiology reporting for hospitals, clinics and imaging centres in Ethiopia
We read the images your facility already produces — X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, fluoroscopy and echocardiography — and return a structured report through a secure portal. You do not have to recruit a radiologist to get your images reported — you get access to one, per study. We work with hospitals, clinics, imaging centres and NGOs. We work with institutions, not individual patients.
What the service provides
Remote interpretation and reporting, delivered as a medical-consultancy service. Imaging is performed at your facility; we read and report it.
Published turnaround targets
Emergency and STAT studies 60–120 minutes, urgent studies within 4 hours, routine studies within 24 hours, measured from upload. These are targets, not guarantees.
Designed data-protection controls
Encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, two-factor authentication and time-stamped audit logging. No certification or accreditation is claimed.
Coverage through nights and weekends
24/7 platform access with after-hours and emergency cover, for facilities whose emergency department does not close.
Subspecialty reading where available
Neuroradiology, musculoskeletal, chest and cardiac, oncology imaging and breast imaging. Availability is confirmed at enquiry.
The gap we were built for
Every figure below is published and sourced. Nothing on this page is a projection or a client result.
How it works
Four steps, using the equipment and workflow your team already has.
Your facility acquires the study
Imaging is performed at your site, as it is today. Nothing about your acquisition protocol changes.
The study is uploaded
The study is uploaded to our secure portal, with the clinical information that accompanies it.
A licensed radiologist reports it
A reporting radiologist interprets the images and produces a structured report. Urgent and emergency studies are prioritised.
The report is returned and archived
The report returns to your facility and is archived. Critical findings are notified to your named clinician, with the time of notification recorded.
Modalities in scope
Reporting for the equipment your facility operates. Availability of individual services is confirmed at enquiry.
X-ray
Chest, skeletal, abdominal and trauma radiographs.
CT
Non-contrast and contrast studies, routine and emergency.
MRI
Routine, contrast and advanced sequences.
Ultrasound
Including Doppler where indicated. Proposed service.
Mammography
Reported using BI-RADS structured reporting.
Fluoroscopy
Fluoroscopy and contrast-study reporting. Proposed service.
Echocardiography
Adult and paediatric transthoracic reporting, including Doppler. Proposed service.
Proposed services. Ultrasound, echocardiography and fluoroscopy reporting are conditional on a pre-trained, qualified or certified professional being available at your site to capture images to the appropriate protocol, on adequate image quality, and on a standardised imaging protocol with an approved imaging instrument. Availability is confirmed by an additional enquiry.
Before you enquire
No. We work with institutions — hospitals, clinics, imaging centres and NGOs — not with individual patients. There are no patient appointments, and we never ask for patient images, reports or identifiable patient information over messaging or social channels.
Pricing is quoted per institution. Tell us your facility name, city, the imaging equipment you operate and your indicative monthly volume by modality, and we will prepare a schedule. No price list is published because the volume and urgency mix drives it.
Imaging equipment, working internet for uploads, a named contact person, and complete clinical information accompanying each study. For after-hours work we also agree an escalation contact.
HakimeRAD Teleradiology is a pre-launch service of Hakimerad Medical Consultancy. Availability and terms are confirmed at enquiry, and we open a small number of pilot partnerships first.
