Pre-launch service. Availability and terms are confirmed at enquiry. We work with institutions, not individual patients.

What we do, and what we do not

HakimeRAD Teleradiology is a reporting service. Your facility acquires the study; we interpret it and return a structured report through a secure portal. We do not scan patients, we do not accept individual patient referrals, and we do not ask for patient images or identifiable patient information over messaging or social channels.

Every engagement begins with your facility profile: the modalities you operate, your indicative monthly volume, your urgency mix and your escalation contact. That profile decides the schedule, the turnaround targets and whether a subspecialty reader is available to you on the day.

Availability of individual services is confirmed at the point of enquiry. We are a pre-launch service and we would rather confirm a scope than assume it.

For how remote reporting works for a facility in this market, see teleradiology in Ethiopia.

Reporting services

Seven modalities from launch, plus priority, subspecialty and second-opinion reading.

X-ray reporting

Chest, skeletal, abdominal and trauma radiographs read remotely, with a structured report returned to your facility. Volume-based arrangements are available for high-throughput sites.

Enquire

CT reporting

Non-contrast and contrast CT studies, routine and emergency, reported with structured findings and an impression. Contrast studies are performed at your facility.

Enquire

MRI reporting

Routine MRI, contrast and advanced sequences, with subspecialty review where one is available.

Enquire

Ultrasound reporting

Ultrasound studies, including Doppler where indicated, read remotely by a reporting radiologist.

Proposed service. Ultrasound reporting is conditional on a pre-trained, qualified or certified professional being available at your site to capture images to the appropriate protocol, on adequate image quality, and on a standardised imaging protocol with an approved imaging instrument. Availability is confirmed by an additional enquiry.

Enquire

Mammography reporting

Mammography reported using BI-RADS structured reporting, for hospitals and screening centres with a mammography unit.

Enquire

Fluoroscopy reporting

Fluoroscopy and contrast-study interpretation and reporting, available from launch, for hospitals with a fluoroscopy suite.

Proposed service. Fluoroscopy reporting is conditional on a pre-trained, qualified or certified professional being available at your site to capture images to the appropriate protocol, on adequate image quality, and on a standardised imaging protocol with an approved imaging instrument. Availability is confirmed by an additional enquiry.

Enquire

Echocardiography reporting

Adult and paediatric transthoracic echocardiography reporting, including Doppler, available from launch.

Proposed service. Echocardiography reporting is conditional on a pre-trained, qualified or certified professional being available at your site to capture images to the appropriate protocol, on adequate image quality, and on a standardised imaging protocol with an approved imaging instrument. Availability is confirmed by an additional enquiry.

Enquire

Urgent, after-hours and emergency reporting

Priority interpretation for emergency and urgent studies, covering nights and weekends. Critical findings are notified to your named clinician, with the time of notification recorded. A surcharge applies to emergency work.

Enquire

Subspecialty reporting

Studies routed to a radiologist working in the relevant subspecialty, where one is available: neuroradiology, musculoskeletal, chest and cardiovascular, oncology imaging and breast imaging. Availability is confirmed at enquiry.

Enquire

Second-opinion reading

An independent second reporting radiologist reviews a study and returns a written second opinion. Supply the original images and, where available, the first report.

Enquire

Institutional packages

Monthly arrangements for facilities with a predictable reporting volume, and multi-facility framework pricing for regional groupings. Package contents and inclusions are set out in the service agreement and confirmed at proposal stage.

Enquire

PACS / RIS / EMR integration

Where your facility already runs a PACS, RIS or EMR, the reporting workflow can be scoped against it so reports arrive in your facility record rather than an inbox. Integration is an optional add-on, scoped with your technical contact and confirmed at enquiry.

Enquire

Reporting portal and data protection

Studies are uploaded to a secure portal and reports are archived there. Designed controls include encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, two-factor authentication, time-stamped audit logging and a defined retention period, typically 7–10 years and set per agreement. No certification or accreditation is claimed.

Enquire

How the service works

Four steps, using the equipment and workflow your team already has.

Your facility acquires the study

The imaging is performed at your site, with your equipment and your protocol.

The study is uploaded

The study and its accompanying clinical information are uploaded to our secure portal.

A licensed radiologist interprets it

A reporting radiologist produces a structured report. Urgent and emergency studies are prioritised, and the modality and subspecialty route decide the reader.

The report is returned and archived

The report returns to your facility and is archived. Critical findings are notified to your named clinician, with the time of notification recorded.

Turnaround targets

These are published targets, measured from upload, not guarantees. Actual turnaround depends on study completeness and the reader bench at the time.

Target turnaround by priority, measured from upload.
Priority Target turnaround Availability
Emergency / STAT 60–120 minutes 24/7, surcharge applies
Urgent Within 4 hours 24/7
Routine Within 24 hours 24/7

Quality assurance: a documented share of studies is planned to be independently second-read each month, currently set at 5–10%. This is a planned policy, not a track record.

What comes back to your facility

Every study returns as a structured report through the portal, not a paragraph in an inbox.

Study identification

The facility, the identifiers your site supplies, the modality, the body region, and the date and time the study was performed.

Technique and comparison

What was performed, and which prior studies the current images were compared against.

Findings and impression

A systematic description by region, and the diagnostic impression written so a referring clinician can act on it. Mammography is reported using BI-RADS.

Critical findings and notification

Where a finding is critical, your named clinician is notified and the time of that notification is recorded.

Signature and time stamps

The reporting radiologist who finalised the report, and the time it was released to your facility.

Archive and retention

Reports are archived in the portal. The retention period is defined per agreement, typically 7–10 years.

Tell us which modalities you operate

Send your facility name, city, equipment and indicative monthly volume. We will confirm which services are available to you and what the engagement would look like.
